The government is ready to engage any private company willing to partner with it in the development of infrastructure through a Public Private Partnership (PPP) vehicle.
Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Minister, Hon. Eng. Charles Milupi said this when a team from Optimise Africa Limited led by its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Alex Mcilwain called on him at his office.
“We welcome any private investor willing to partner with the government through a PPP or Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) model of financing.” Hon. Milupi said.
He explained that this is because currently the government has a huge debt burden and does not have adequate resources to finance infrastructure projects.
And Mr. Mcilwain said his company is ready to carry out infrastructure projects in the country through PPP or BOT model of financing.
Optimise Africa Limited is a fully registered and compliant African, Mauritian, authorized Company.
