RDA Conducting Study to upgrade road connecting Copperbelt to NWP
The Road Development Agency (RDA) is conducting a feasibility study to upgrade the road connecting Copperbelt to North Western Province through Lufwanyama district.
This came to light when Infrastructure and Urban Development Minister, CHARLES MILUPI commissioned a newly-completed district administration office block in Lufwanyama district.
Lufwanyama Member of Parliament KENNY SIACHISUMO said the feasibility study on the road gives the people hope that the Lufwanyama-Kalengwa-Kankolonkolo road will be done.
Earlier during a courtesy call on Chieftainess SHIMUKUNAMI, Mr MILUPI said following the failed attempt to upgrade the Lufwanyama-Kalengwa-Kankolonkolo road through the private public partnership-PPP- funds will be secured to carry out the works.
This was after Chieftainess SHIMUKUNAMI cited the road as one of the key infrastructure challenges in Lufwanyama district.
