The Association of Consulting Engineers of Zambia – ACEZ and BongoHive Consult have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening Zambia’s engineering sector through innovation, capacity building, and professional development.
The ceremony was graced by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development (MIHUD), Prof. Albert Malama, who commended the initiative as a vital step toward enhancing Zambia’s infrastructure delivery and professional standards.
Prof. Malama lauded the MoU as a strategic and timely initiative, underscoring the government’s commitment to fostering collaboration in infrastructure development—a cornerstone of Zambia’s economic transformation.

In his remarks, Eng. Tresphor Musonda, President of Association of Consulting Engineers of Zambia – ACEZ Zambia, emphasized that the MoU represents more than a formal agreement—it is a shared commitment to building a future where Zambia’s engineering community is equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving infrastructure landscape.
Meanwhile, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Zambia, Chief Executive Officer Chituwa Chulu said she is confident that this partnership will open new doors for knowledge exchange, professional development, and practical innovation — and ultimately contribute to the sustainable growth of Zambia’s engineering sector.
