The installation of the Acrow bridge at Sinjela, Rufunsa District is ongoing, with works on a diversion underway to restore traffic flow on the Great East Road. The Zambia National Service (ZNS) and Road Development Agency (RDA) are on site,working together to publication on newspapers.
President Hakainde Hichilema has directed a nationwide assessment of all bridges to ensure safety and prevent future disruptions.
Brig Gen Jephan Mukanda, Chief of ZNS Land Development Branch, has been on site supervising the works.
